Oceana 03:26
Another seeming wave of some big consequence A modern antiquity becoming relevant The greatest chance for hope lies in the irony Your fame’s also your fate we watch with bated breath Are you washed up? I’m not sure Closed world on open sea You hooked me with your dark eyes But you prey upon the weak... and it’s your week Oh, oh, oh... pull me under Oh, oh, oh... with your bite Oh, oh, oh... Oceana It gets better all the time (I see red again) You’ve no idea of hate nor any love to give Your fame’s your great escape if it will bring you back Are you washed up? I’m not sure Closed world on open sea You hooked me with your dark eyes But you prey upon the weak... and it’s your week Oh, oh, oh... pull me under Oh, oh, oh... with your bite Oh, oh, oh... Oceana It gets better all the time (I see red again)

Turn To Dust 03:48
Where’d you come from, where you going next? A life immaterial, watch it slowly fading From the end of a cigarette, burning down Slow down, now you’ve got to know Got to know it somehow No it’s not that way Hope we’ll all be rolling in it someday A little more time, little more time Just until the sunrise A little more time, little more time Just until the sun breaks down (I’m calling) Where’d you come from, where you going next? Who thought a life too inferior, too procrastinating From the eyes of a passerby coming then go Don’t go without a fight, act like you know how No it’s not that way Still think we’ll all be rolling in it some day A little more time, little more time Just until the sunrise A little more time, little more time Just until the sun breaks down (I’m calling) Everything I touch will turn to dust

This leash of mind’s got me tongue-tied Self-doubt wants me to fail Can’t look her in the eye, it’s an anti-matter Here and now this space and time I’m ground beneath her feet I sit quietly and pine Far away far away In some alternate universe of us That’s where I long to be For quantum mechanical reasons Pro-fess brave-heart If only I could travel there Instead of this and here I’d do more than just stare it’s an anti-matter A sheepish man becomes a wolf He has will to face his fear A completely different book, it’s an ant-matter Far away far away In some alternate universe of us That’s where I long to be For quantum mechanical reasons Pro-fess brave-heart Whoa Yeah... In our world I am King At my side she’s my queen Men like Gods dare to dream far away far away... Some alternate universe of us That’s where I long to be For quantum mechanical reasons Pro-fess brave-heart

Summer 03:49
I’ve been waiting longer than I care to admit Contemplating and preparing the thoughts within my head I know I’m just not myself I know I’m just wasting your time, your time, uh I know I put us on a shelf I know I keep changing my mind, my mind, my mind Here’s to yet another summer With one another Where every day is like every other I’m debating, procrastinating, just wait a bit and see My cause is irritating, debilitating, slowly killing me I know I should grow a pair I know I could just go there, hold on, hold on, uh I know we’re in disrepair I know you just won’t forget, go on, go on, go Here’s to yet another summer With one another Where every day is like every other Why do I even bother?

Best Mistake 04:22
She left her house with just the clothes on her back and her tattoos, pretty tattoos She plays it cool for being such a hot mess little angel, little devil She’s got that look and keeps the wrong kind of friends in her bubble, making trouble Want her to be the best mistake in my past play with fire, burn me fire Can’t help but stare into the flame Mesmerizing what she tames Giver her everything she needs To be my best mistake To be my next mistake To be my worst mistake To be my last mistake Sexy red lipstick on her cigarettes and her wine glass, in that black dress She’s got that something that you just want to get get it on you, is what I’m into High heels hold up her legs that reach to the sky like a scraper, mover-shaker She could raise the dead with only a smile there’s an army, of her zombies Can’t help but stare into the flame Mesmerizing what she tames Giver her everything she needs To be my best mistake To be my next mistake To be my worst mistake To be my last mistake Can’t help but stare into the flame Mesmerizing what she tames Give her everything, giver her everything, everything she needs To be my next mistake, to be my worst mistake, to be my last... my last To be my best mistake To be my next mistake To be my worst mistake To be my last mistake Sexy red lipstick on her cigarettes and that wine glass, in that black dress I’ll gladly be her casualty if she would just agree to be... my best mistake

Sinking Ship 04:10
I’m standing on a sinking ship The bow, it reads your name Now I’m counting every misplaced step I took that put me right in my own way Days have come and gone and so have I Still you stood by my side When everything is said and done I pray that I will be forgotten Oh, how did it come to this? (How did it come to) How did it come to this? (How did it come to) Where should I have been? (Where should I have been?) How did it come to this? (How did it come to this?) Surrounded by regret I stand out on the deck But there’s no one left I’m holding up, it’s seeping in You’re giving up, it’s down again I fold, you’re cashing in your chips I take a drink and drown in my last sip Days have come and gone and so have I Still you stood by my side When everything is said and done I pray that I will be forgotten Oh, how did it come to this? (How did it come to) How did it come to this? (How did it come to) Where should I have been? (Where should I have been?) How did it come to this? (How did it come to this?) Surrounded by regret Istand out on the deck But there’s no one left

about

Austin is a city well-known for supporting its local talent — but you have to earn it, and with their debut EP, A Little More Time, pop-rockers White Label Analog are doing just that. Reaching through decades of influences to create a timeless, yet oh-so-current sound, the band is gaining attention for the new EP and its first national single, “Turn to Dust,” which is already getting spins in Buffalo, Detroit and Tucson.

The band recently joined renowned Austin DJ Loris Lowe, host of KLBJ-FM’s “Local Licks” show, for a spin/talk segment, after which she offered this ringing endorsement: “White Label Analog play power-pop rock crafted by veteran musicians. If you’re not averse to having fun served with your rock ’n’ roll, then enjoy these sunny melodies and delicious hooks. Your head will be bopping!”

Their name references days when music could be played only on turntables and tape decks, but when it comes to influences, lead singer Chris Didear (pronounced Dee-jer) notes, “Every decade has greatness to offer.” The band sometimes evokes hints of power-pop predecessors such as Fastball and Cheap Trick, though they’ve also been likened to such contemporaries as OK Go. With their fondness for crafting beguiling, harmony-filled prog/synth/grunge mashups, they sometimes defy easy comparisons. For White Label Analog, creating music that can stand on its own regardless of inspiration is what counts.

The band is already in the studio working on a follow-up EP. But let’s give them a little more time for that, and savor A Little More Time now.
